Keeping Shepherds Vineyard’s Community Center Powered Through a Heatwave
During a record-breaking July heatwave in Shepherds Vineyard, the local community center faced a critical risk when its primary generator showed signs of strain. The oppressive heat pushed equipment to the limit, and the hum of failing power threatened to silence cooling systems essential for residents’ safety and comfort. Losing power during such extreme conditions would have forced early closure, disrupting vital community services.
We deployed our N+1 redundant generator setup within hours, immediately supplementing the existing power source with an extra unit ready to kick in if the primary failed. The seamless transition ensured the center stayed fully operational, the air conditioning never faltered, and residents remained comfortable despite temperatures soaring above 90°F. The staff praised our quick response and reliable equipment, preventing any interruption in services.
Our cooling never dropped, thanks to their backup setup. We stayed open and safe all through the heatwave.
