Summer Storm Left 12 Homes Without Power for 36 Hours
I'll never forget the August thunderstorm that knocked out power to half of Shepherds Vineyard. Our crew got the call at 2AM - transformers blew near Smith Farm Road, leaving families sweating in 90° heat. One panicked homeowner had a newborn relying on a CPAP machine.
We mobilized two 35kW trailers within the hour, prioritizing medical needs first. By sunrise, we'd daisy-chained temporary hookups using our Heavy-duty Lockout/Tagout kits. The whole neighborhood hummed back to life before lunch - even kept the pool pumps running through the outage.
Had AC before the coffee brewed!
